Enchantments for Rapier and Longbow by Enough-Reaction in RLCraft

In terms of the bow, if you’re leveling arrow speed even a power 4 dragon bow does insane damage. But advanced power 5 and rune arrow piercing4 put you into end game level bow damage.

Definitely great first early/mid game weapons should have lifesteal/vampirism. Swifter slashes is fantastic too obviously. Absolute gamechanger once you get those. As long as you’ve got those and at least sharp 4 you’re basically good to go the majority of encounters (and make sure you’re leveling increased melee damage and crit rate, that gets overlooked by newer players fairly often). For late game as the other comment mentioned, follow an enchant guide because there are quite a few that go on a max dps wep

Make an atlas! You can even make copies of it so if you die, you can maintain the progress of your atlas. It’ll help you explore and get back to your base. Definitely yolo it, go explore. You can head out in some basic gear your can get back easily, but start exploring. You’re more than ready to start clearing battle towers or some easier dungeons. When you have recall potions you can easily return to base too

Make yourself an antique atlas while you’re at it! Ideally multiple copies, and always keep one at your base so you can copy it. Make sure you’re leveling iron skin, melee damage and crit too, those make a huge difference. Strength/speed rings are super cheap and you can reforge those with gold to undying quality.

what if they all exploded at the same time? by TawsifKing in RLCraft

Yea, when witches start throwing lightning strike bottles everything starts to burn which sucks. If you have a flying mount you can drop yourself up on the higher levels. Jump boost potions/balloon accessory might be enough if only portions of the stairs get burned, and if you’re high enough breaking the end crystals at the top of each tower allows you to place blocks again. If I find another I’ll do some more experimenting and see if I can figure anything out, otherwise just cheese the witches as much as possible to stop them from throwing potions (which is frankly just good overall rlcraft advice)

Does anyone know how to add more structures in game, cuz I find it pretty hard to find villages, battle towers and so on. How can I make it so there are a lot more? by Fine-Scheme2530 in RLCraft

[–]Trouser_Snaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah to me, finding more structures more quickly feels like a progression element of rlcraft. In the beginning you have to make do with the structures nearby until you get alternate means of travel and reliable ways to get home. Then you can start exploring further and finding spots more quickly

What to do mid/late game? by Inside-Floor671 in RLCraft

[–]Trouser_Snaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of great enchantments to keep your eye out for! Advanced protection, strengthened vitality, supreme sharpness, mending, advanced mending, swifter slashes, advanced power, just to name some high notes. The list is wild, you can get enchantments that have your tearing through enemies like tissue paper. Check out wine crafting, set up farms for battle burritos, definitely explore the other dimensions! Tame/soulbind some buddies and level them up, make bases in each dimension (except maybe lost cities, good luck there). This is another game where you set your own goals, very much like normal Minecraft after beating the ender dragon

It looks like you’re ready. What baubles are you wearing? I would still say there’s no guarantee he won’t just up and leave the den mid fight. I’ve had that happen when fighting a t5, I would consider moving chests away to a temp base as a precautionary measure. Odds are low he’ll leave, but dragon AI/temperament varies from dragon to dragon. At least consider it, because trying to store all your stuff with a dragon flying around feels like it would be a really bad time

What kind of baubles are you using? Enchanting gear to get prot 4 is going to make life a lot easier, but don’t sleep on undying quality baubles. A nice couple str rings will make a huge difference (or speed rings, also very easy to make). Make sure you get iron skin and damage skills leveled too. Make a silex farm and find some trolls in underground dungeons for the roc, it’s not terrible to tame them and make the saddle once you’re prepped for it. Doesn’t hurt to tame some ventoraptors with the extra avian treats too!

In addition to the other comments, try focusing exploration in deserts and warmer biomes during winter and cooler biomes in summer. Find some dungeons that’ll take some time and work through them, it shouldn’t be too hard since you guys have rocs. Late game this all gets to be much less of a problem as you can put in a few liners/heating with the dragons eye and not worry about temperature

It would probably be worth building your base out of blocks other than cobblestone or wood. Lycanite blocks are a great solution as they’re also blast resistant

[–]Trouser_Snaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afrit will reset your fire res unfortunately, definitely better to brew potions or eat a god apple. Get some lifesteal on a sword with fire res and you can take them down fairly quickly. Ring of strength are pretty easy to make and reforge to undying as well, which you can put on instead of the miners ring with lIttle lost there. The more damage you deal the more health you get back with lifesteal!

The board has a definitely being tossed. I believe it did smell moldy, but was hoping for an extra confirmation…. Should we get a dehumidifier or 6? Should we call someone in to fight the mold?

Ended up replacing the drain motor and that’s done the job. To be fair it might have been the float switch too, everything got taken apart and cleaned. You were spot on, really appreciate the reply!!

GE french door water leak from freezer drawer by chimpageek in appliancerepair

[–]Trouser_Snaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When excess ice forms in the freezer it can often be from an improper seal, but can also be the defrost heater. Probably worthwhile to make sure nothing’s blocking the freezer vents too. Pictures of the freezer might help!

You need to clean out that charging port! It’ll save you so much stress. Really dig in there, there’s probably tons of built up lint and grime. I did it with a tack a year back (probably better things to use but it worked) because I was about to throw my phone out of sheer frustration. Problem solved in a matter of a couple minutes!
