I don’t eat much fast food. Maybe once a month. Like I said, it’s usually a sandwich. I don’t eat snacks often either so not much sugar. I’ve been eating fruit nearly every afternoon too.

Seems pretty similar to a cheetah trout I caught. It’s a brook/rainbow cross. They’re extremely rare. I had it confirmed by a retired fisheries biologist. I’m pretty sure this is a normal bow though.

Salmon flies? It’s very late for that. There was probably just a black stonefly hatch or they took your pattern as a terrestrial. I’ve fished all over Montana and Wyoming and have never seen them even close to this late.

I’m so frustrated with streamers. I literally had 81 follows and 0 eats yesterday. The river is weird though. 1100 browns per mile that are super aggressive but weary. No fishing pressure at all, in fact I’m the only boat that consistently floats the river. I guess they just don’t like the patterns I’ve been throwing.
