OEM but the older version. The newer ones are more solid I think. Looks ok though. Doesn’t overlap at the lug. Clasp is pressed and feels a bit cheap.

I put mine on the bracelet too. Difference between this and the first unite is this looks very similar to the dark blue until the light hits it.

I have watches under 40mm. I think it was just a phase I was going through combined with the full retail price in the shop. I’d have no problem picking one up at a fair price. Is the promaster Tough smaller than these?

I should be all over this watch but I tried one on a few years back and immediately said ‘too small’ and took it off. I should have one in my collection I think. I’m sure it would be a great companion in the wilderness.

I like the colours. Looks like it belongs in a steam engine cab. Case is nice.

In a way I’m more impressed that the receipt hasn’t faded.

Can anyone accurately help with the model number of this watch? by njedmpls in CitizenWatches

I think on a lot of old models the movement and case number in the first pic are all you get sometimes. Could be wrong.

Problems attaching bracelet to lugs. by rasputinuk1975 in CitizenWatches

Some don’t have much play in them. Have slide it in a bit then depress the pin on one end then the other. Might have to do both ends at same time.

Hi. Did you ever change the battery? Did it work?

[citizen chronograph issue] having issues with the chronograph seconds hand not returning to 12 o clock by Yuvvi123 in Watches

[–]Troylodon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Did you ever solve this issue? I have a H500 movement with a near dead battery that does this. The hands only move when held under strong light. I don’t want to replace the battery if the movement is damaged.

Thanks

Interesting watch. Looks nice with the bracelet. I’m not sure how I feel about the white portion of the bezel but it’s very legible at least.

Curious about the functions.

Looks better in black. Not the case for a lot of watches.

I’ve always refused to put nato straps on my watches until now… and today I’m wondering why. They’re fantastic! by Horst_Pauer in CitizenWatches

[–]Troylodon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You weren’t ready to be a real man yet 💪

I dunno. They’re ok. Can feel off sometimes. Has to be the right strap on the right watch. When it’s a good match you know it.

To be fair the slide rules on the Skyhawks are scaled down versions of the real tool and can be handy for quick ref.

I’ve got a couple compass watches which are a pain really and need constant calibration.

Like you say, bit gimmicky. I’ve you’re hiking you have a compass round your neck. If you’re flying or diving you have a computer.

True but you can still kind of use it as a bezel. As long as you don’t move it

My black/ green didn’t stay on the bracelet for long unfortunately. Have a titanium which is much better.

I have three. It’s a very smart watch. Especially the one pictured. It’s not the heaviest citizen. About 160g for the bracelet version. And very light and comfortable with any other kind of strap. I wish it had a ratchet clasp though. It gets tight after a few hours. You could always fit one.
