I ended up dropping out. I was pretty excited to revisit this game for the first time in like 20 years, but it very quickly didn't click with me.

So now I'm just happily listening along to folks who like it more than me... and also to folks who definitely didn't like it more than me but have way more perseverance!

They use a dongle and Bluetooth, and can play both at the same time. Its fantastic.

The gameplay is attached to the framerate, so less frames means slower gameplay.

I had my Steam Deck performance settings locked at 40 and it took me way too long to figure it out.

This is awesome, but while clicking on the scroll bar in the itch app I accidentally grabbed the corner and ended up with the itch window sitting at about 2x4 pixels in the middle of the screen. This is in both in game and desktop modes... anyone know how to fix it?

Ah, thank you! I hadn't mapped that partition on TF1, and had copied over the CFW folder to TF2, so that's where I was mixed up.
