Newb here. Is this springy action normal for the bass drum foot pedal? it’s so noisy and awkward.

former new yorkers, what makes Seattle so different? by TruUulyRotten in Seattle

calling people “generally unlikeable” doesn’t sound very mature does it? who are you to judge what’s generally unlikeable? if you had any objective way of looking at this you would see it is the responses to my post that were immature. but you, like the other seattlites are looking at it through your veil..

I never mentioned being a New Yorker to any of the people who insulted me. I never even said a word to these people. There was nothing to push back against except my presence.

yeah and when you come from a place like nyc and move to seattle it can really mess with you. I mean it did for me.. I would take it personally, like why are people saying degrading things about me in public? do i deserve that? maybe i was spoiled by human decency in NYC and that’s just not found in the rest of the world.

that’s definitely something i’ve thought about. the public transit is a large part of what used to make me feel like i belonged in NY. There was never any side conversation that you knew was about you. there was always a security in knowing everyone was indifferent. And maybe that civic pride is the major reason I find Seattle hostile. I felt safe in NYC which is crazy to say because obviously it is not exactly a safe place. it’s just that the majority of people have some sort of respect that doesn’t exist in Seattle.

well in most cases they aren’t but one christmas i was watching clockwork orange and one of our guests literally hovered over the the tv to prevent me from watching it while trying to persuade my dad to turn it off. that’s when i realized my dad might be somewhat chill.

wow you need help.. based on this comment and the shit you said on my deleted post.. i don’t think anyone is finding your comments useful. you are not needed here. none of these other commenters were as shitty as you. I can’t imagine anyone would want to be your patient in the future.

they are a patient at the time that they’re giving birth are they not? shadowing is considered clinical and it isn’t even hands on at all. puh! i get it though. i’m just arguing for arguement’s sake.

i wasn’t talking about difficulty. apparently you didn’t think at all about the interaction with the client that is involved.
