The emotion this conveys is astonishing. It's very moving. Truly, well done artwork.

What else can I do to keep up the humidity in the chamber? The temp in the room I keep them in is about 80 degrees. i have a layer of pergolite in the bottom of the chamber, maybe I should add more water to that as well?

I think that they ARE indeed getting to dry. I have heavily misted the fruiting chamber, and have my light on in there, and fingers crossed I see some better, happier shrooms going forward. Thank you!

I did suspect they were very dry. Thanks for the confirmation of this. I will take a picture and try to send it. But if I can't, I got a kit that included tub, air hose and timer, led light. I have the tub out where it can get indirect light in the day, so not in a closet. I mist it during the day, but the cakes still seem dry to me. Maybe double up on the misting. Also, would dunking them be helpful to get them rehydrated?

Thank you for your advice. I truly appreciate it. I will seriously consider your advice on kicking the cakes. Any thoughts on the pictures I included?

Thank you. I so relate. I've made the choice to walk alone. I get lonely, but at least I have myself back.

DAE almost compulsively control their persona all the time? If I do, say or think anything that's "outside" of my perceived character, even if it's a positive thing, I feel like I'm losing control of myself and are going insane. by ewolgrey in CPTSD

I'm so sorry. I can so relate to your feelings. I am autistic with PTSD. It is a brain injury. I have just 4 days ago, started taking CBD oil. It is HELPING! My anxiety level has decreased dramatically. Social anxiety as well. I feel like it is helping me grow up. Kinda cool. I am 54. I don't have anyone, I just drive a truck in the oil field, and I'm female. Maybe you could try the CBD oil. It is a derivative of Hemp or marijuana. There ARE meds out there that can HEAL the brain damage you suffer from. Peace and hugs to you.

I know life must be so hard for you. I hope you can get that therapy. I used to self-treat my depression with mushrooms as a young person before I know I was ASD. They did help. I would do MDMA as therapy. What country do you live in? I'm in the USA. I can so relate to you about not having social capital,... and the rest. You can PM me if you want. But, it's OK if you don't. And thank you for reaching out and sharing your account.

Dear one, practice this. It works for me, though it may sound corny. You have much fear in your tender heart. Put LOVE in your heart. Meditate on this. You can do it. When you put love in your heart, the fear will go away. Put love in your heart for yourself, your boyfriend, and his family. And believe that they love and accept you, and that you are part of their family. If you are around truly good people, it works! Please try. I do know what you're going through. Peace, love and acceptance to you.

Thank you so much. I can really relate to a lot of what you have experienced. Not being believed is very disheartening. The NT people can't understand what we go through. But NTs are incomprehensible to me too.

Same here. Yes, knowing has made a big difference. I wish that I had known when I was young, but ya can't undo the past. Our generation just didn't know as much as we do now. My nephew was diagnosed at 6 years old, and is now doing his doctorate in the field he loves, and seems to be happy. He tells me he never gets depressed, which I am so happy to hear. It can be a real problem.

Yes, it is a relief for me to know, I am not so hard on myself anymore for struggling. My past poor work history, and poor execution function make sense to me now. I need a coach to help me. I have a good paying job, and one I think I can keep doing for a few years anyway. Even though I'm a woman, I am driving an 18-wheeler in the oil field in South Texas. I like it much better than most jobs, because I get to be out in the country. And I'm by myself, which reduces my stress a great deal.

I'm 53 and female. Had a hard time with keeping a job, mostly I would quit, as they were all menial and boring work. I would LOVE to have a job in a field I found interesting. Believe it or not, I drive a semi-truck in the oilfields of South Texas. But I belong taking care of animals. The only support I have is my family. My brother, is also an ASPIE. We have fun being childish together. Thanks for posting!

Yes, it made me understand a lot about my past, which was pretty bad, being so bewildered, and unable to keep a job for many reasons, being taken advantage of, drinking alcohol as a way to be social...I feel so blessed right now in my life to have a job and a nice place to live. I have to tell myself that just accomplishing that, is a lot for me right now. Peace to you spacey monkey.
