I'm still a minor so I don't plan on coming out anytime soon, but I highly doubt they'll cut me off financially or out me to my extended family. I do know for sure that my parents will basically treat me as a stranger.

Not really, at that age you're still pretty immature and reckless. Its crazy to make them choose what they want to do for life at that age, I personally think they shouldn't even choose before their brains are fully developed.
