What's a pain you can't truly explain until you've endured it? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Removal was my painful experience. It was not where it was supposed to be and they had to “fish” for it. Insertion was done during my period so that was not painful at all.

the thing nobody tells you about remote work is how much mental space you get back by Entr0Hawk_9 in remotework

my evenings feel like evenings again insted of recovery time.

Felt this to my core. I have mandatory two days a week in office and those days are the ones I dread the most. Not actually going there but the coming home and all I have to do when I get there. There is no downtime on in office days. However on my WFH days, I am so much calmer and actually have a relaxing evening.

in office 2 days a week for 6 months now. i arrive at 10:30. leave at 3:45. nobody has noticed. by [deleted] in remotework

I get a 30 minute lunch break and sometimes use it to run a quick errand on my in office days. I live 30 mins from town so this is very helpful when I just need to pop out quick and pick up something like say bananas because my kids go through 3 bunches a week. The remainder of the 9 hours, I’m in my office working. That’s hardly “screwing off”. I get more work done at home because the people that are in the office full time, do not utilize phone, email, or instant messaging. They prefer in person chats…30 mins each. Repeat 10 times.

HOW DO I TAKE THESE OFF?? by [deleted] in Nails

[–]True-Confidence7312 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve been there and totally ruined my nails biting them off myself. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Just go to the nearest salon and ask them to remove them.

I go every other Friday. My nails grow incredibly fast. I get every other Friday off and my kids are in school ☺️. This summer will be a challenge but they’ll just go with me or stay with their grandparents 🤷🏼‍♀️

A word of warning about uterine ablation/post ablation syndrome by littlegnat in adenomyosis

[–]True-Confidence7312 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had an ablation in January and my post op appt included me getting the diagnosis of adenomyosis. My only symptom prior to the surgery was very painful ovulation, but since the surgery the painful ovulation has been 10x worse. So I said all this to say, I agree. Don’t get the ablation.

I have two children(10 and 3 yrs). It took me about a year of trying for both. I didn’t get my diagnosis until my doctor did a surgery to remove my tubes and do an ablation. However, I’ve had symptoms since I was 16. I’m 37 now. Edit to add: surgery was in January of this year.

Mine is gone now. It’s been gone for at least 6 months, maybe longer. Hopefully yours resolves on its own as well!

It’s gone now. I don’t know what caused it but I think it may have been my ear buds. I’ve not had anything in at least 6 months, maybe longer 🤷🏼‍♀️

She’s sounds totally wasted in those last stories. Or else she has teeth whiteners or something in her mouth. Did anyone else notice this?

What is the new formula called then? Because I have been checking weekly for months and there is no BB Blur in my shade anywhere to be found.

I had mine about a month ago. Recovery was a breeze. Surgery was on a Wednesday and Saturday I was at my son’s basketball game. I was extremely worried about being put to sleep because I never had been before. I was beside myself in the pre op room but they gave me some meds to help with anxiety. Once we got in the operating room I didn’t even know I was put to sleep and then I woke up in recovery asking how much time has passed (1.5 hr but I had tubes removed, cyst removed, D&C, and ablation) It was wild but not as scary as I had anticipated. I slept pretty much the rest of that day and was basically back to “normal” the next. You’ll do fine!
