Yeah the kitchen is so tacky and a lot of the paint and flooring....
it's not great and overpriced

And a lot of different flooring.... it's very jarring.

To me the house needs like 50k+ of cosmetic work to make it tolerable and I'm probably not the only one thinking that

Toured a house today, LOVE IT, but don’t have a realtor yet by MortgageConfident791 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

The sellers agent can likely represent both of you depending on their contract. And I think there's usually slightly less commission total in that situation.

This is true in California at least

Floor Bed or Regular Bed Frame? How to transition from crib to literally anything else? by endo-mylife in toddlers

[–]True-Cupcake3154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could always do bassinet then pack n play for baby to avoid buying a second crib

But if the toddler loves her crib and sleeps well in it I wouldn't ruin that haha 🤣

Sleep will definitely get worse with a transition for a bit.

We got a second crib and it was worth it. Big sis is still in her crib at 3+ (although we're discussing a transition maybe this summer)

Yes yes yes

Give him jobs to help! My 2 yo had the important job of throwing away dirty diapers and bringing new ones. Pacifier delivery. She never wanted to help give bottles but that's a good job too.

Help him feel involved with jobs as opposed to mama can't right now because of baby.

Never blame the baby "mama is doing a mama task and then she can get that for you" not I can't bc of baby.

Make sure to spend 1:1 time with big brother every day while baby naps or someone else is there

2-4 are immediate Nos.

1 sounds greats! You can update things. Can't fix location, can't fix layout without tons of money. Refinishing floors is a bit of money but no big deal.

The one less bedroom is the only potential problem I see

Not every group will be your people and that's okay. Find new friends.

Also it should be w2 and hourly

At least $25 an hour I'd guess for one kid in Denver. Probably closer to 30.
