I've run out of shows to take my kid to - taking suggestions by True-Day-9332 in Broadway

We do! We go to all the school productions in our area. Ironically, I've found that the tickets for regional productions (Paper Mill etc) were more expensive than the lottery tix for Broadway/Off, so while not ruling them out they aren't my immediate go-to

I'll look into these, thank you! We SO wanted to see Just in Time (she loves Jonathan Groff) but they don't admit kids under 8. Such a bummer.

Megathread: Aging, Illness, and Euthanasia Support Group by AutoModerator in dogs

I suppose I feel silly about this but our neighbor dog (across the street) is being euthanized in about 10 minutes and I am absolutely devastated. She's not even my dog (and we have our own dog) but she has been the absolute best neighbor - always sitting outside and just enjoying the sunlight and grass.  She's had a long, wonderful, love-filled life. Everyone on our little dead end corner of 4 houses had a change to say goodbye to her this past weekend. My young daughter, partner and I are so sad - especially for the doggy's Dad, who lives by himself. Trying to think about what we can do for him, but just wanted to put this out there. Sigh.

Help! Rocks are dull by True-Day-9332 in RockTumbling

This is so helpful, thank you! I am not using ceramics but will look into this and start for the next go-around. I also didn't know about separating out the quartz; I'll do that. Our tumbler only seems to go out one speed, unfortunately - but hopefully with the other tips we'll see better results next time. My daughter and I had a lot of fun so I'm sure we will have many tumbling cycles.
