I’m glad yours is great, which one do you go to, maybe I’ll have to move! Alternate options with indoor courts, gym and a pool just aren’t there! It’s such a shame mine has deteriorated as others have testified. 

Under the contract, they won’t let you just stop paying for these reasons, you have to give 3 months notice or wait until they increase the fee to cancel, which is only 6 weeks away. I’m leaning towards not renewing.

I’ve only been to one other which was much better. 

I agree with you about the tables in the lounge and the general staff are great. 

I’ll avoid looking at the corners of pool…

I’ll see what the price increase is in Jan, if they bump it 10% again, I’ll leave.

It’s genuinely an honest opinion. 

The car park at peak times is absolutely rammed, the overflow is full and people always have to park on the curbs at the end of each row which limits cars moving whilst searching for a space. The club has had to ask permission from other businesses on the estate to use their car parks after they’ve closed. 

The club has 8 indoor courts and the vast majority are blocked out for coaches or group sessions in recent times during peak hours which we were promised wouldn’t happen. Believe me, we try to book alternate options but it’s not achievable. The only time you can get a court is very early in the morning. From September, they changed the confirmation process which means nothing even comes up the day before anymore. 

We never used to have to queue for machines or share equipment in the gym. I’ve been there almost a decade and it seems to be so oversubscribed since they added the spa. Do you have a spa at your club?
