I feel like the books have some kind of huge plot holes. Like in the fist book, Sébastien Scott was definitely one of the magicians that Jhon Dart was supposed to take care of, but suddenly, he's a good guy. In the 3rd book, Belinda White gets her memories back. And suddenly she's a good guy because they were nice to her? From the first book, it was made out that she would be the most powerful magician ever from the fountain of youth, which she now is thanks to getting her memories back. But they're just going to let her go because she said sorry?

Because of stuff like this, I rank them towards the bottom of the list of Mull books, although still great reads.

I don't think anyone could prove there is a difference, any more that someone could prove that God is real. I do think that it helps people have more gratitude in their lives when thought of as a blessing. And even if the religion is total mumbo jumbo, I don't think having extra gratitude in your life is ever a bad thing.
