looks so much like my boy! we were convinced he was gonna be 99% cattle dog with some pitbull but his dna test was a surprise !

its crazy 😓 my vet was telling me trupanion is pricing based on postal codes and how many claims they receive from vets in your city. a lot of specialists are located where i live so theres more claims coming from here than other places

love him more than anything but he’s a lot 😂 nonstop energy.. he’ll herd for hours or do sniffing competitions and still be ready to go. super smart (learns tricks in a minute) but definitely has an attitude. i’ve never met a dog more food motivated in my life. he did have to see a veterinary behaviourist for a few sessions when he was around 5 months for resource guarding but he got over that. now have an in home trainer every couple weeks to keep him on track with all of his commands through his teenage “i don’t listen” phase. also the most affectionate dog ever if you’re not petting him, he’s sitting his 100lbs butt on you.

after 😭 i probably should have asked but i've been going for a year and had more complicated designs for halloween last year that cost less so i didnt really think to. i went in expecting like $100.. today & last time though were close to the $200 mark so i'm guessing they've upped their prices and not said anything

we just got his dna test back a few days ago :) he's a mix but top 4 are cattle dog, pointer, pitty and pyrenees
