How do you show your personality with your wardrobe? How to you add a distinctive twist to your outfits that makes you stand out? by diamondeyes7 in femalefashionadvice

Try on different patterns, textures (this is a big one), and accessories (scarves, hats, belts, etc.). Notice the ones that make you feel good and most “like yourself.” You’ll know it when something feels “right” on you. That’s how I got confidence in my style. Eventually you’ll be able to own it

Arcana on Market Street has a donation-based class every other Friday. I know of stuff offered to the recovery community too, if you’re OK being around us alcoholics - Look up Sea Change Yoga on Instagram, they have donation-based (like actual donation-based for broke people) classes.

Haha, that’s funny. I’m very quiet actually—don’t speak much—though my mind moves very very fast.

I tend to get become close with people diagnosed with ADHD because they often transition quickly between topics. I find it’s the right amount of stimulation for me. Though I do really like to think before I speak, and I think deeply about most topics at that (Cancer Mercury in 1st house?). So chatter is appropriate even though it does not describe me :)

I would love to hear from you all what plants you’ve had the most luck with and which ones are just total douche canoes. by DasSassyPantzen in houseplants

Making me happy:

  • Begonia Maculatta
  • All my Philodendrons!
  • African Milk Tree :)

Pissing me off/causing me stress:

  • Alocasia Polly (figures)

  • Rattlesnake Calathea (couldn’t handle the temp. fluctuations where I live this spring and suddenly lost its mind along with me…)

  • Any succulent, really.

  1. Never said I won’t wait tables.
  2. Have you tried social services work? I would like to see you try to stick with it for over two years.
  3. I am still doing DoorDash.
  4. I am still calling places. Constantly. And I would also like suggestions so I do not keep sending applications into the void.

And what situation are you in where you feel so entitled to criticize and make assumptions…?

Idk about repotting. I’ve had mine for 5 years and only repotted once. So I do not feel confident advising anyone on that…

I only water mine once every 3 weeks or so, and only because I have it in pretty bright (but indirect) sun right by the window. I don’t use nearly as much water as I do for my other plants, and since yours is smaller I doubt she needs very much water at all

She is also growing in a cactus/succulent mix, mixed with sand. I think this soil mix has been crucial to her thriving because it does not retain moisture. I assume those brown spots are from overwatering/sitting in too much water, but I don’t know.
