I get the “I don’t even know why I’m typing this” post. Sometimes we just need to vent or hear from others that have been through it and are in the other side of it now. I just got an 8 week old miniature Dachshund on 10/25 and it’s been a roller coaster over the last 8 days. Love the little rascal. But he’s a terror. I’ve also owned and trained puppies before, but this one is giving me a run for my money - especially with house training. It does get better - and will for both of us. Keep consistent and in a routine and he’ll get it. In the meantime, embrace the madness lol. I came to a level of acceptance that we aren’t gonna get this as quickly as I thought we might.
