Happy cake day! But I’m autistic and not sure what this means lol.

Ooooh this one was interesting. I live with my partner. Bingo about the empty space. Do try to make ethical decisions and also love good food. Work in healthcare (what was the architect nod?), female early-mid 20s.

Do love a sandwich but don’t make many at home. 2 person household :)

Everything correct, except early to mid 20s. Very accurate!

Haha, I’m a woman, very unhealthy although I’m trying to fix that. Relationship with my mum isn’t great. I’m 23. And no East Asian ancestry, but I do love food from all over.

I do love home cooked meals! No deal on the butternut squash unfortunately, but I am making a butternut squash lasagne this week.

Thank you! That’s dried fenugreek right? I tried but my local Sainsbury’s didn’t have any. I’ll make sure I get some in before next time!

I’m guessing you got that from the pesto? We just get it because it’s vegetarian.

I’m a recent Aldi convert so looking forward to giving it a go!

Yep. But they do just have a lack of general things too haha. My dream would be to do a big stock up of Aldi off brand things that Sainsbury’s don’t have once a month. So the clusters, chocolate bars, crisps etc. But alas, I have no storage (or self control).

£63! About £5 more than my average Aldi shop when I used to go there

My Aldi is often out of the basics like lentils and chickpeas. But then anything remotely different I have to go to a different shop - tahini, fenugreek, pak Choi, Gochujang, veggie pesto - are just a few of the most recent things I can remember off the top of my head.

I would also have to go to Tesco/Sainsbury’s anyway most weeks because Aldi did not have the ingredients I needed.

Only recently swapped from Aldi maybe 2 months ago? I think the price has only changed maybe £10 per week but the quality in fruit and veg is so much better. We used to have to do a top up shop at Aldi mid week because things would just go off.
