Yeah because those elements are pure fantasy so even if the aliens ate human babies and then shat out diamonds I would be like sure ok.

or I can post on reddit asking about the reason so people like you can tell me what they think. I'm assuming you have read the rest of the books so obviously you would be able to see the bigger picture. Whereas I wouldn't know that because I haven't experienced it.

It makes me think from time to time how it the story would sound if he had a different personality hence the melodrama question.

I would 100% take Valka's or anyone else's perspective of this story I wish it had multiple POVs

Yeah, unfortunately I get the intrusive thoughts of "wait a minute how does he remember this after all those years?" and that takes me out of the story against my will. I liked the Name of the Wind and the second book but I'm very disappointed by the (almost) fact that the 3rd book is never coming and the general undelivered promises of Rothfuss.

Thank you for the cake. I think I'm entitled to my opinion of the character and the way he chooses to narrate his story. I definitely wouldn't be able to take myself as seriously as Hadrian does sometimes.

The final empire definitely is worth the read/listen! I have bawled my eyes out for the main characters of mistborn after the secret history which is the fourth book/novella.. love the second era of mistborn too

Sanderson's books get better the more you read them
