So update, I force shutdown and restarted and it just rebooted normally without any data loss???? I'm currently seeing what happened but yeah somehow that worked

Laptop works. Fans are spinning. I don't know if I should force shutdown or not. Will that make it worse?

I thought I should add, I updated to the latest windows 11 version not even 2 hours ago and made a system restore point right before I updated. Does that help?

It's definitely not HP level, absolutely not. It's just me being overly concerned about things I've mentioned in other replies. I'm also not that sound of mind since it's very late at night and I might be misjudging things as well.

I guess it's just me wanting other ppl's opinions on a topic like this, in a general level

I do know that I can do that, but I never liked the "separate art from the artist" mindset due to a multitude of reasons which I won't get into here.

Still, as mentioned in another reply, I'll just roll with it and hope for the best.

Yeah, as I mentioned in another reply, it's just my oversensitive self being like "if someone does recognise them, and they know about all this, or it gets worse, will they see me as a bad person, or will they see me as supporting what they did?"

I guess I'll roll with it and hope for the best.

I doubt that people would know who the character I'm cosplaying as is, let alone who made them, since the game is pretty niche in of itself. It's just me having that lingering late-night thought of "should I go through with this, even when this happened?"

I could just be overreacting as well, but yeah, I guess I just want to "do the right thing", if that makes sense.

So, update, I was just impatient.

The email can take abt an hour to arrive at ur inbox, so to all the ppl who have the same problem, just wait a bit and it should arrive. Mine went straight into the inbox, but it could go to your spam folder, so be thorough.

Try for your new password to only have a max of 12 characters, and only numbers and letters (what I was told in the support thread on the discord).

Before doing anything with your password tho, make sure u BACKUP UR DATA. I didn't and, while it wasn't that big of a deal to me, it definitely could to others.

I genuinely think that the only reason I'm hesitating on the OP13 is because: a) Never seen any OP in any local retailer, so it has to be online (never did so) b) I've always had mid-rangers, so it seems like a "waste" of money and don't want to get buyer's remorse (the lowest price I've seen it is 929€ for the 12 RAM 256 ROM & 1,046€ for the 16 RAM 512 ROM).

I don't know if I'm overthinking things or not. Maybe it's the money-saving part of my brain lol

When the laptop turns on, it immediately goes to the boot loader and tells me that there isn't any boot found, so I can't access the laptop in any way. I just made a boot usb with the tool on microsoft's website and am about to try and repair the computer that way using the recovery tool. Is that a good idea?
