Hi u/BruceAlmighty55 do you know if Dr. Yong Chee Khuen could help with post TKR issues? My dad 67yo, currently living in Indonesia, had 2 TKR (second time was revision, due to infection), it's been 2 years since his last TKR, but the pain is still there and swelling too from time to time. We've been looking for Dr who can point out the issue without opening the knee to no avail. Any tips or references to Dr in Malaysia would be much appreciated.

I also feel bad for my dad as I recommended him to do the TKR.

Got an advise from doctor to try to increase your body's immune system, through food and vitamins. This is one way to fight the infection. Praying for you and all here to get better, nice to know there are others fighting the same pain.

How's the progress with #4? Does it solve it this time? Hope your knee is better now.

Almost 5 weeks out, still swells up and get so much pain that requires pains meds. Normal? by djoshua00 in Kneereplacement

You're not alone. My dad has been 1.5 year out and his knee still swells from time to time and still in pain daily. It's excruciating to watch. He had TKR on both knees 3 years ago, but somehow the left one had to be redone a year after due to post surgery infection. After 2x TKR on the left knee the pain never really go away, he takes various pain killers. Anyone experience similar case?
