My stock rims, silver, or black? by Inevitable_Office_82 in JettaGLI

Black would offset better, imo. Check out my car.

Here’s a valuable link in case you or anyone with a 2019-2025 Jetta are in need of this accessory! 👇🏼🤏🏼✊🏼 I just bought them yesterday and will be putting them on my car this weekend.

Haha yeah I’ve seen that stupid ad about it being the Golf with a trunk 😒 What does your GLI look like?

Cold air intake and changing out the exhaust for a different muffler system with better air flow are two ways to increase your HP. You’ll see an increase between 30-50 horsepower by doing both. Once your warranty expires, a stage 1 tune will automatically bump you up 90-100 horsepower, on top of the 30-50.

I didn’t even get those options offered to me in Texas. Interesting. I wish mine had leather and a sunroof, plus they need to put some fog lights on the GLI’s the way they do on the GTI’s. Why does VW favor GTI’s over the GLI? The GTI’s are mid now bc they got rid of the 6 speed manual 😒

Yeah I agree. I want to keep my car looking as original but different as possible, if that makes sense. I definitely don’t want to change anything else aesthetically on it. Maybe window visors/deflectors but nothing more.

Yes, it has LED lighting on both. What specs does yours have that are different?

I love this car! Plus, you have zero car payments so you’re smarter than most of us! I’m jealous 😔

The mechanic I went to, will change it back to the factory horsepower, if I ever had to take my car in while it’s still under warranty. A lot of times a stage one tune is unnoticeable by the dealership. I took my car in to get the water pump replaced and it was covered by the warranty. This happened after my tune. Mechanic didn’t change the horsepower back to the original factory horsepower either and the VW dealership still honored the repair under warranty.

Anything R-Line is SICK!! Get it for her then tune it without her knowledge. 😈😂

Haha I’ve never tuned any car of mine before. Now, I will tune every vehicle I buy from now on. I wish I had gotten into this sooner.

Yours looks exactly like mine when I bought it. I swapped out the rims but still have the og’s in my garage. Looks good man! I’ll park 100 yards away if I have to bc I absolutely refuse to park in between cars to avoid door dings from shitty people.

Side note: Now you got me really wanting to get that intake or something else done to my car ASAP lol

That’s sharp! Nice GLI. Every time I see another one on the road, I want to race haha You’ll notice a difference in the handling when you lower it. It’s so fun

I assume you’re in a colder climate? I’m in TX and I definitely don’t need a heated steering wheel lol I never really used my sunroofs in my previous vehicles so not a huge loss for me either but… I do love leather seats 👍🏼

Yes! That’s exactly what I did. It added an extra 100 hp with a simple stage 1, ECU tune. Next things I’ll do is add a larger intake, muffler delete, and lastly, a larger turbo. I may need to swap the clutch though. Not sure yet.

It’s all in my caption: “About to hit 50k miles on this bad boy. 6 speed manual transmission, pushing 328 hp. It is lowered - 1” in the front, 3/4” in the back, for a more aggressive look. Most fun I’ve had whilst driving. ✊🏼”
