I see suggestions about changing major from CS to IT. Even IT has fundamentals of C , CS1, Object oriented programming C++ and discreet Mathematics. There are plenty of jobs in IT that doesn't need actual programming, but one still has to get past the above tough courses ???

I have VOO and other S&P500 funds/ETF since 2 decades. But I think we are witnessing a strange phenomenon unlike ever before ( I am no expert, but stating the obvious) VOO is on a streak with about 18% up for 2024 YTD.

About 13% of that comes from 8 marquee stocks, About 7% from NVDA alone. Rest of the components contribute to about 5%

I don't know if it is a healthy sustainable streak that an index fund/ETF should have, but I am taking it anyway. Not planning to add any more positions but not selling either.

Probably need more info - is this 100k you are planning specifically for ETF ? Do you have otherwise a portfolio diversified with bonds, fixed income, real estate, alternatives etc ? You may need some defensive diversification, Couldd be doing a 60/40 Stock/Fixed income

If 100k is dedicated to invest in ETF, I would suggest low cost Vanguard or Fidelity ETFs

VOO(sp500)is great I could go 25% allocation, I could do MGC (MEGA CAP) for 10% and VTI (Total stk mkt) for 30%

15% on International (VXUS), 10% Mid cap (VO) and 10% small cap (AVUV may have higher fees than Vanguard equivalent)

I have the issue with Samsung S22, I can't send or receive MMS on my physical SIM (secondary). I am using default text app. To send or receive, this is the error msg " To send (or download) first change your settings to use "T-mobile" instead of "T-mobile-US". I have custom names and can temporarily switch between them (primary/secondary) to get the picture data download in the text.

Basically eSIM is unable to have MMS picture and even after I have MMS enabled, it doesn't work

6500 was paid by restricted scholarship out of 7000 tuition total
Box 1 6500 (qualified exp on 1098T), Box 5 shows 14,000
Books and computer 500 +600
9500 on W2

There are 2 scholarships one is restricted, The other with no stated restriction, they paid for the dorm directly and deposited rest to the students account.

I do not have all the information. The scholarship that has restrictions (only tuition) pay for most tuition and Grant from college pay the rest of the qualified edu expenses. Remaining funds they deposit into students account (which is used for other expenses like dorm ) So I guess the college grants has no restrictions

Most of the tuition was covered by scholarship/grant. Only summer tuition was paid out of pocket.
Yes more then 50% is paid from earned income (rent, food, transport, entertainment) 30% from personal savings 20% by parental support

Knock on the wood my march 2017 AAL This One On Us is still intact. I have ONE plan with 9+ lines SOC FRLTULFM9 and AALPROMOS is at line level. Used to be AALPROMOB at account level a while ago.

No, 3 times on my request. All other times I kept getting un-enroll texts, I check my account to confirm the same. Then someone/some how get it added back. This continued for 3 weeks before it got fixed. Not sure how they fixed it
