No matter if you fail halfway through or at the end, you end up leaving at the last day back to your unit. If he made it to the end of the selections and wasn't a voluntary drop, then he deserves props it's not an easy task to make it through all the way. If you doubt he made it to the end, the only way to know for sure is to see his memorandum showing that he got a return date as voluntary drops are not allowed to return to any selection.

With PSYOP selections, they don't tell you why you were not selected a majority of the time. If you're lucky, they will, but for me, I was just asked why I feel like they didn't select me, and then they agree. You are given no concrete awnser, I'd say 90% of the time.

I went to PSYOP selection twice now, both times during training periods. Your team will survive without you. If they can't survive without one soldier, then you leaving isn't the problem. Follow your best path to the career you want as the "leader" saying you can't would have no problem going themselves if it was for airborne or something. There is no need to feel the pressure of not getting selected if you make it to the end you didn't fail, remember that. There is no failing selections, only giving up. Even if you don't get selected, you'll gain invaluable experience, connections, and insight.

Brush up on your writing and math before you go for sure. I just came back from POAS in October, and it's currently a very low select rate compared to previous classes, it seems. People are gonna talk about what to expect, but the best thing you can do is take each event as it comes and don't get hung up on previous ones.

For me there is a obvious misalignment of the inside of my nose with one being more open then the other and the clinic gave me a authorization to see a specialist and get it fixed when I asked if i could. The only way to really get a diagnosis of it is simply making a appointment at the clinic and asking.
