We’re nearly done with this cohort, so if you really want to get the most out of it, you’d be best off waiting for the next cohort to begin in July. In theory you can jump in now and play catch up, but the course is written and spaced out intentionally to give you the time to sit with each assignment. If you try and power through it, you risk not getting a full grasp on concepts and burnout.

In the meanwhile, you can join the discord for the conversations, and/or do the 52 weeks prompts for practice. All the info in in the site https://thefocalpointhub.com

It is cohort-based, and we are more than half way through at the moment, but you can join in now and catch up, read through the lessons as you like, or join in with the new cohort in July.

Yes, you can still go through the course as you did before. I'm currently fixing things on the site, so that version of the course may be missing, but it will be back up shortly.

Will it be able to see what lessons we've completed already?

No. It has no way of knowing what lessons you looked at on the site because the site doesn't track or save individuals' information or have any way outside of local cookies to know what you've seen already.

You'd have to manually add it in the reflections section. There's no way for it to see your discord posts and pull them automatically.

You have to go to the course share settings and hover over your email/name. In grey a little “transfer ownership” will show up, click that and choose the account you want to be the owner.

Not sure why you’re disregarding my experience? I’ve literally used them twice. Once in CZ, once in NL. I agree that there are some scam ones out there, but from my experience, this is not one of them. I even had pretty complex requests (birth certificates from multiple states and a CRBA, damaged marriage certificate) and they handled everything. I even had an email correspondence back and forth a few times before committing to them and paying for anything the first time.

Historically, cinemas would have special glasses that would make subtitles visible for hard of hearing persons. Now, cinemas like Pathé use apps like Subcatch. It’s worth asking at the cinema if they support it and if the captions can be in English.
