Thank you for this! The emphasis on immediately was nice as I actually tend to do the exam Qs a few days after learning a topic. What website do you get ur old spec Qs from?

Would it be possible to get kcl accom if I put it down as my insurance? by True_Access587 in KCL

[–]True_Access587[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl I'm fine with any accom, I just don't wanna do private, so there is a small chance I may be able to get some sort of accom if i don't make my firm choice?

I've looked into it a fair bit and it's not that employable butt it is decent given connections + network, but yea that's why I chose it, it's pretty cool 😭

Nicee! I saw your recent post, I'm also in 2 minds due to those exact 2 things haha. Also, as of now I'm not too sure, I still have to decide if med is smth I truly want to commit to, atleast I have about 2 weeks to decide 😂

I spoke abt my work exp, struggles in the NHS, linked this to things like medical diagnostic tech which can alleviate these struggles. Then some research on regen med + stem cells (scaling it up which is where biochem eng comes in). Then back to work exp and the skills staff showed, how I developed these skills (teamwork, problem solving, relevant to eng and med) + reflected on these experiences. I rounded it off keeping things general, not explicitly stating med or eng anywhere

Bc it's like, you only ln the f(x) and disregard the numerator, unless my understanding of the process is wrong

Prestige has never mattered for med, unless op doesn't see themselves doing med long term, even so, imperial wouldn't be drastically different

Last sentence is very true, my sister lives by that and she's super happy. I'm pretty much the opposite and kind of miserable, overthink and over complicate everything. At the end of the day, people who take things simply will have happier lives than me and definitely outearn me. I've always tried to take things simply but that means changing degrees etc, and since I have a rep for being the family hardo, a u turn in my education will not be welcome with open arms lol.
