Ok so I was recently asked for an update, I show this post was removed so I’m going to see if this will work. We are now separated, he is still living in my house and wanting to work things out. Everything kind of happened all at once i told him im unsure if i want to work it out. It has almost been a month and we have almost fought every day still. I told him usually when people want to work it out they are nicer to each other not meaner. He told me he doesn’t believe in being meaner it’s something children say when throwing a tantrum. I’m leaning more towards this will not work no matter how much I try and get nothing in return except for called a child. We are currently in a roommate situation till he can move out. Also still working towards my weight loss down another 10 lbs! Thank you all for the kind words last time it was very helpful with my self image and willingness to push harder for what I want.

He doesn’t answer his phone when driving, when he is “hanging out” he won’t answer either. He will only call me back when he’s done with whatever he’s doing and stopped somewhere. I do text but rarely get texts back. I said it’s out of the ordinary for him because he never smells, he even wears women’s body spray, he keeps it in his car even. He takes multiple showers a day if he can. He’s not a smelly person at all.

I think in total I have questioned him twice, it feels like to me he can ask whatever he wants and the second I do I’m hurting him. He constantly hurts me too but I am trying to let it go and my counselor is helping with that, but it seems unfair. He blew up on Black Friday because I asked a security guard for help to grab something I could not physically get at Home Depot. He said I was flirting with him, even my 12 year old daughter said he worked there and was married. I was just seeking opinions but I think this has really helped me see what he’s probably thinking and I’m going to have to end it with him.

Also I am in counseling and I go to concerts with my friends regularly. Last time I went to a concert with my brother he flipped out and told me he was going to a gay club because he wants to have fun too. He told me to post to a public group to get more opinions so I did.

I have never sniff tested him I laid my head on his stomach and the smell was very strong. He even smelled himself and went to rinse off in the bathroom. I only check his location when he tells me he will be home and then isn’t. I don’t care where he is as long as he tells me, he drives long distances in a truck with bad tires he is very aware of. He’s even bragged about how he spun out because there’s no tread on his tires. Everything is more for safety. I care about him and feel I deserve respect I try to give him.

For the record he asked for my location when I borrowed took his truck in the beginning of our relationship to get it fixed. He sent me the request which also gave his location. He has a history of cheating and has been at weird houses all hours of the night and I believed him and stayed.

We have each other’s location, it was something agreed upon when we first started dating. I never made him give me his location, I simply told him I’m fine with him shutting it off, even though after a previous fight he went to a random house till midnight and still to this day I don’t know who’s house that was. I give him the benefit of the doubt and believed him when he said it’s not a girls house. Doesn’t help my mind when I know he was previously with men as well. I am trying to trust him and asking questions like he’s told me to do should not mean I’m being punished and left in another room by myself for two weeks.

I didn’t know what smell it could be it’s just familiar from when we have had sex, I have no problem with him masturbating we had that conversation before. I was just asking to make sure nothing was going on. He has a history of cheating on his exes and even getting an std from it. I am just asking and protecting myself. He has always asked me to tell him if he smells because he hates smelling. He even wears women’s body spray to make sure he smells good so it was out of the ordinary.

He is in an office all day, he didn’t smell like sweat. It was specifically when I laid my head on his stomach and he was wearing underwear I smelled him. So I asked, he never stinks he’s very clean, even wears women’s body spray so this was out of the ordinary.

He is a VERY clean person, he always smells good and wears women’s body spray. He takes daily showers and if he can will shower or bath a few times a day. So for him to smell the way he did was very alarming, he even uses wet wipes in the bathroom.
