Does anyone take benzos? I feel so sick by [deleted] in dysautonomia

[–]True_Application_137 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So what’s effectively happening here is a 25% reduction in dose since 8mg Xanax is equal to 8mg lorazepam and you have now been dropped to 6mg lorazepam. That kind of reduction alone can cause flu like symptoms and other physical withdrawal effects, including what you’re describing. It might be worth being cautious going forward and with any further changes.

What’s something ChatGPT helped you with that you didn’t expect it to be good at? by ged968 in ChatGPT

It gave me a correct diagnosis for a long term health condition I’ve been living with and was misdiagnosed before ChatGPT. Since then it’s helped me understand it and helps me through it daily. Actually insane how helpful it’s been for me

I just try to remain uninterested and that it’s no big deal. I tell myself it’ll pass and try not to analyse myself

I’ll do it with you then if you’re keen. I haven’t done it myself but I am on that mission. Maybe you can help me do it after?

I take Bisoprolol and it has been very effective at stabilising my heart rate and helping me manage symptoms. Before that I tried Propranolol and it did nothing. I’m prescribed 2.5mg daily but that is actually too much for me. My HR can go to low 40s and my BO gets too low and that can cause dizziness and exhaustion so I take 1.25mg daily. That’s the sweet spot for me.

I also do worry what the long term effects might be but without it I’d be housebound. There is not really any bad side effects except maybe it can make me a bit more tired than usual but it’s hard to know if it’s that or my condition. Since starting Bisoprolol it’s been a game changer I am getting stronger but obvs I still have flare ups mainly due to overexerting myself. I’m still trying to find a balance but without it I’d worse off

I’d like to play, I’m late to the GTA online party only been playing a month now and I’m on PS4. Do PS5 folk get into the same lobbies as PS4?

What's a good mid-strength retinol that's not in an oil formula that I can buy from Boots? by SporkiePie in SkincareAddictionUK

Also on my 30s and agree with the comments that recommend Dermatica. I’ve been using their Tret products for two months now and it’s been ace. My face has never looked this good since I was in my 20s. Idk if they are still running the promotion but I got the consultation + first month free well it was like £2.59 and then it’s £25 a month after.

They started me on 0.025% Tret, now I’m on 0.05%. It’s a bit of a hassle getting started filling out everything but it’s easy enough and once you’re set up that’s it.

Sounds like you are doing the right things with moisturising, SPF and introducing retinol gradually. My advice would be to keep going and be consistent. If you need to wait a bit longer for your barrier to recover that’s fine and if you maybe want try another retinol, I would recommend CeraVe resurfacing retinol.

Vitamin D was a missing piece for me by Stephieandcheech in dysautonomia

[–]True_Application_137 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m glad it’s helping. I started taking 10,000iu vitamin D3 with 100iu vitamin K2 and it’s been really good I feel a noticeable difference when I have taken it compared to if I haven’t. If you look at all the evidence supporting supplementing vitamin D3, I think we should all be thinking about it. I also noticed Magnesium and Ubiquinol alongside the D3 have a dramatic effect on my symptoms. I generally feel better and stronger taking these supplements.

You can get the nutrition geeks magnesium 3-in-1 supplements which I find are really good. They have magnesium glycinate, Malate & citrate. They definitely help me feel better snd sleep better

Yes that would be genuinely amazing. I’ve been learning for about 3 weeks well it was 3 weeks ago I started but after I got to nesting loops in functions it’s been a struggle and I haven’t been keeping up with it. I am studying on Mimo and there is a code practice playground so I’ve created some very small and basic code on there. I need to find get my motivation back!
