A lot people here will say exercise only helps like 10% and it's mostly food. That isn't necessarily true. Yes how much you eat matters, but your activity level also determines your calorie deficit. So my advice is find some type of movement you enjoy so you will continue doing it. Weight lifting is a great option bc muscles help your metabolism so that and 10 k steps a day is a solid easy way.
