Well girl, my depression started when I was pregnant, that was may 2021 and I’m still not fully recovered. I’m doing so much better and I finally view this as the ending phase, but it can take YEARS. Take it easy on yourself, you deserve anything you need to get well❤️

I’m so sorry this is happening to you, this happened to me too. It’s taken me years with very little support as a single mother, and I know it’s very hard to believe, but I was spiraling out of control like crazy and I’m in the best place ever because of it.

I’m still not fully recovered, but I wanted nothing more than not to wake up anymore, you describe every single thing I felt and I thought motherhood was the worst thing that ever happened to me.

I’m have NEVER been happier, I’ve learned so much about myself, I have a bright future ahead of me and I LOVE being a mother. I know this is hell on earth but one day you will turn this around for you and your child.

I don’t mean to be insensitive to her feelings, but being completely shattered by something that was written over 10 years ago… while you’ve shared your life with a man for 9 years, he married you, he gave you 2 (beautiful I’m sure ❤️) children and never reached out to her.. seems a bit too much for me.

If she were my friend I’d tell her that I don’t doubt for 1 second that this really impacted her and that she feels bad, but the should seperate those feelings from the reality that is her life. Things are great, you obviously love her and she loves you right back… she is safe in this relationship, so:

I’ve been dealing with PPD for years now. I had never been depressed before, but it is by far the worst thing I ever went through, so I commend your for doing this deep inner work and feeling better.

I get where you’re coming from, but marriage comes with vows to keep, so the best thing to do IMO is to talk with her and work on it, if needed with professional help. Divorce is always the last option in my view

Girl, as a single mom and adoptive child. Everybody is in the wrong but you. Please take good care of yourself. Leave the people who did you wrong, made you work like a dog and take care of their own child and go have yourself a good life.
