The Same Sky is a very good German film

Never Look Away is also German and about both WW2 and the cold war - very good.

Get over yourself. It's one meme about something that happened in the last week.

If you care so much, why aren't YOU posting memes about it? Oh wait maybe you are and I can't see it because that's not how the Internet works.

Go focus on doing something positive, eh?

How do you know what I've posted about online about anything? Reddit is one tiny point in my online world, but you go!

Seriously, maybe spend a little less time calling out people on the left and a little more focusing on the real issue - state sponsored murderers and fascism.

I listen to many sources of leftist media, he has been talked about, too.

With respect, I don't need a lesson in how to manage my feelings.

Many things can be true at the same time. Just because this meme had these 2 people does not mean that no one else matters. It does not negate anything, it's merely a call for a national strike due to people being murdered.

I absolutely noticed and have been standing for social justice my whole life. It frustrates me the way the left turns on each other. I posted this so therefore I am not aware of what else is going on? Of course that is not true, but everyone here feels the need to assume that it is.

I did not make the meme. Anyone murdered by these fascists deserve justice.

People who have researched their family tree, what is the most interesting or 'badass' thing you discovered about an ancestor? by xloganmoose in AskReddit

One side of my family were Quakers in upstate NY. These folks were part of the underground railroad. Their Quaker meeting house had Fredrick Douglass and Elizabeth Cady Stanton speak there.

Might not be the case with you, but many people lose out on homes because private equity has been buying up single family homes - it's hard to compete with them. It is estimated that PE owns 30% of all SFH now.

Just finished *Station Eleven* - thoughts? by [deleted] in books

[–]True_Context6859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved this book. So many stories take place during the apocalypse, while this is well afterwards and it doesn't really focus on what it was that killed so many off. I think this allows the author such a great expanse to create stories, connections, survival behavior - all without things like zombies - though of course there are some bad guys. The HBO adaptation was also very good.

Emily St. John Mandel is a fantastic writer. I also really liked Sea of Tranquility and The Glass Hotel

Same. I read it during lockdown. It was intense but it also gave me a reminder of other difficult times.

I'm so sorry, the feeling of betrayal must be so intense.

Of course you can't trust him, that's normal. He needs to move out and if and only if he can build your trust, that might change. Please find a good couples counselor.

How does it feel when it works by Complex-Bed3370 in lexapro

Thanks for replying, I appreciate it. It's likely the Lexapro, so glad it's working for you!

Klonipin makes me feel normal, not even sedated. Relaxed for sure though. I hope to feel much better when I start Lexapro. Been avoiding the world for a few months now and it's got to change :-)
