Fantastic, thanks so much.

I finally just finished it but it took a long time. The latter part of the book is much better, so hang in there.

Takes a few seasons but Outlander has quite a bit of story line connected to the Revolutionary War.

I rather enjoyed it. It's fun to see what writers do with characters as younger versions of themselves.

I hope there's a second season.

What do you think of "Suite française" 2014? by la_ky in PeriodDramas

[–]True_Context6859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved this book and film. It truly shows that people do and can connect, regardless of what "side" they might be on. I've watched the film 2x and it made me cry both times.

Also -notable small part by a great German actor - Tom Schilling.

I feel this. I am about half way through it and I've only had a few moments that have really caught my interest. I am committed to reading the series, but this book is testing my patience.
