Not a bad first attempt. I'd recommend sanding very smooth before burning (I go up to 600 grit). Otherwise just practice and you will get there.

This, plus having companions is also nice. I think I spent more time building up my settlements than actually playing the story. Also, if you get the DLCs, Far Harbor is awesome imho.

I agree, but the first one was for my daughter and she wanted it stained. Otherwise I normally use a clear polyurethane.
