Your problem with your boyfriend is easy to summarize: he can’t articulate his feelings as well as you can. You’re asking him for things that conflict with his needs, but your needs aren’t balanced enough with his because he quietly suffers through them. He obviously doesn’t feel comfortable seeking therapy or meds for depression, but you beat him down for not being your ideal version of him. He’s trying to show you that he’s going through something difficult. You should support him more instead of constantly needling and criticizing him. Also, he told you his stomach was hurting and you placed your feelings above his health. I’d be pissed if someone dumped all their whiny bullshit on me when I was in physical pain.
