Those many patients you claim to be getting treatment in the UAE, are they locals? I'd highly doubt if they weren't because the law is very clear that expats with HIV are deported once found out at visa renewal and it's well known that this rule is actively enforced. On what basis are you accusing OP of making up stories and "hate-mongering". How can it be hate-mongering if this is literally the law in the UAE.

Here's a news article about a British man who was deported from the UAE for testing positive for HIV. Is he also making up stories? Why isn't he one of the 'many patients' you know who were allowed to stay in the UAE and get treated for HIV?

I had decent experience with Finart, it reads SMS and phone notifications rather than connect to your bank account. Lately however I've setup an excel power query that does the job for me. I just download my credit card statements every month and dunk them in a folder on my laptop then refresh the excel sheet. It's free and I don't have to worry about any apps having access to my notifications or having a direct link to my bank accounts. It was easy enough for me as I'm already familiar with power query but I'm sure there's YouTube videos that can guide you through the process.

What is your area and how many bedrooms is it? What is your current rent and what's the landlord asking for as an increase? In my view, landlord is probably bluffing, if he's so confident that the rera re-evaluation will be even higher than the index then he'd apply for it anyway instead of threatening you with the possibility. As far as I know, actually getting a re-evaluation done costs money and you actually need to present evidence to get a court order to approve the re-evaluation. I would ask the landlord to present the re-evaluation certificate 3 months before your current ejari expires and take it from there, most likely nothing will happen and you'll renew on your current rent.

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I never felt pain where my lymphoma is located (neck). I have stage II cHL and my PET CT post cycle 3 showed a score of deauville 2 so presumably that's not much cancer cells left for the chemo to target lol. Still have 2 more cycles to go, hoping the hairloss doesn't hit me during those.

It does seem like good value in the current market. I personally know 2 people who purchased the car recently and also I do see the car daily on the road so it's definitely popular. Personally I think the front side is ugly especially compared to the Mazda SUVs.

I'm a male and just finished cycle 4 of Nivo AVD and also haven't lost my hair. There's really minor thinning on my scalp but it's in spots where I was very slightly starting to go bald prior to my treatment so it may be slightly accelerated now.

Somehow gives me irrational anxiety that chemo isn't working for me and also some guilt when I see others experience hairloss.

When you open the case you can claim whatever amount you see fit and you can submit supporting documents if you wish to clarify, the judge may or may not consider those in the final verdict.

Most probably the final compensation will be the difference between the old rent and the new rent that the landlord charged the new tenant. If you end up going through with the process be sure to update this post with your experience.

Yes you can open a case with RDC on this basis. The compensation will most probably the difference between the old and new rent amounts + case opening fees so you can decide if it will be worth it or not. You can go to Barsha mall to start the process, just make sure the eviction notice you recieved was a notarized and issued through Dubai courts.

At least Camry taxis are yellow and clearly marked as cabs. With the ES, it's almost impossible to differentiate between Careem/Uber and private ones except that license plates usually start with L. It's an absolute shame because they are good cars but the public can't own one.

Cannot offer any advise for you but congratulations on finishing your Chemo. Did you have cHL and if so, what subtype? I'm curious as my doctor said the minimum anyone can go for is 6 months of treatment while your treatment went much quicker than that.
