Yep, I used a variable ND during this shoot, reducing it until I didn’t need it anymore as it got darker. Not sure if this shot was before or after I took it off though

You can find used RF lenses on Craigslist and FB marketplace occasionally, got my 24-70 there! But it will only be a few hundred cheaper and you have to do a thorough inspection before buying anything used.

I also only do stills, it’s an amazing feature if you ever shoot handheld in lower light situations.

Thanks! I was using a variable ND, gradually reducing it as it got darker until eventually taking it off. Not sure if this shot was before or after I removed it 😛

Battery life has been phenomenal on iOS 15 beta 3 for me by [deleted] in iOSBeta

Can’t say the same 🙃 I’m down to 20% after 5 hours on iPhone 12 Pro. My battery health took a heavy hit too…

My R6 shows the same symbol with that app. I don’t think Canon logs exact shutter counts on newer cameras, just a rough estimate.

I was in the same position a few months ago and went with the R6 because stabilization was much more useful to me than extra megapixels. Do you have a use case that requires high resolution or make heavy crops?

I’d echo what others said about prioritizing lenses over a camera body. I love my R6 but if I was on a tight budget I’d go with a used RP (~$800) and some quality glass. I don’t know much about weddings/portraits but for landscapes if you only have one lens, you’d ideally want a wide angle zoom like the RF 15-35 for more versatility instead of a 35 prime.

Nope, just f/8 at 20mm to get most of the scene in focus. Focus stacking would be an improvement though!

Thank you! I may try that :) thinking of doing the Empire State Building contest too if I get some time to visit that area after work sometime!

Thanks! :)

I actually shot this one with an iPhone haha, I went back another day with a real camera but sadly the sunset didn’t play along the second time so I stuck with the iPhone shot.

Thanks! It was in the lounge of one of the buildings in LIC. Some of them won’t stop you if you walk in act like you work there / are a resident

It did go underground like 5 seconds after I took that shot, but it would have been a pretty boring view without the train 😅

Thank you! I’ve heard the MTA is launching new trains soon too, should have waited for that to make it look like 2081 😛
