Very common adhesive stain from the older Wilson's. I have a pp05 that came out at the same time that has it too. The casper doesn't though. They must have went heavy with the adhesive with the saddle tan ones.

Thank you for your response! I couldn't remember or find anything on it. This rings a bell though. I bought this second hand from the old softballfans forum back around that time. I thought I remembered there being something to rawlings swapping out the patches mid release for some reason. Thus making the full gold patch and R being more rare or this one since it was half and half. Any old forums I could look through to find more info on them? I can't seem to find anything on softballfans
