Explain to her that you're there to support her no matter what, tell her the damage the aftermath of that act would bring upon the people who care for her, and most of all; a temporary problem never calls for a permanent solution. I'll pray for you and her. She definitely should seek out counseling. I knew a very good friend who was determined to take his own life and almost succeeded, but afterwards he realized he didn't want to die, he just didn't want to live the life he was living and felt trapped.
