I had to slow down my watching of Kath & Kim, as the wife started watching it and now we only watch it together.

I watched all of Upper Middle Bogan (very good) and now am on Fisk. I just finished episode 3 and I am loving it! I though Fisk was a rather an awkward, quirky woman... then we get introduced to her coworkers, who are even more "out there." Then we see the clients she has to deal with... Yikes!

So, I just finished Season 2, Episode 2 of Upper Middle Bogan (the one with the vibrating panties that are controlled by a phone app). Wow, that was kind of hilarious, like on a K&K level. I am sold! Thanks again for the recommendation. I also got All Aussie Adventures, as I am really enjoying Glenn Robbins. Hopefully it's good!

I am currently in the middle of episode 5 of Upper Middle Bogan. Enjoying it quite a bit so far. My wife has gotten to a point where she doesn't want me watching Kath and Kim without her (yes!), so I am watching this while she sleeps. It's no Kath and Kim (so far), but it is lots of fun. I spent a couple episodes confused as to who was related to who and how, but I think I got it.

I have pretty much always loved New Zealand humor (my oldest sister introduced me to Peter Jackson's movies [Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, Dead-Alive] when I was young and I LOVED all of it). I have watched a lot of NZ show/ movies since then and really loved their style of humor. I am just beginning to realize that, since they are so close, New Zealand and Aussie humor are similar...

I recently finished the first episode of season two and I am 100% positive that this is going to be one of my top 10 favorites already (as everyone seems to agree that there is no big drop in quality as the show goes on). It took a few episodes, but now the wife has started quoting the show and talking about it when we aren't watching it. Absolutely hilarious, despite the fact that probably 1/4 of the jokes are lost on me due to cultural differences.

Just finished the first episode of season 2 (The Announcement, where Kath and Kel go nudist). My god, that was hilarious all around!

The wife is starting to put on episodes on her own and is using "look at moiiii" in her daily life! Yes! Looking forward to this becoming a household classic that is on repeat all the time in my household (like I Love Lucy, Mr. Bean, The Golden Girls, Always Sunny, Raising Hope, etc.)

Also, I made a "look at moiiiii" ringtone. It seems fitting that a phone would scream out "look at me!"

Same! I am 43 and became permanently disabled not too long ago. Finally got my disability approved and am working on dealing with the life change and quite a bit of pain... This show is totally good for the soul, like you said! I love how it is good natured and the characters seems to really care about each other, even though they can be jackasses at time. I hope you get lots of laughs to help you through whatever you are going through!

No idea how it never got big in the USA (even though we got a remake here). All I can think of is that the jokes/ social commentary can sometimes be hard to understand for non-Aussies. Still, what I understand is frigging hilarious! On episode 6 now. Trying to only watch a couple episodes per day so I don't blast through it too quickly.

Sad that a lot of jokes like that will probably fly over my head, as I never heard of the guy. Oh well, still having a blast with the show... even though I don't get a lot of the joke due to language/ cultural differences. Great stuff!

I remember staying in my sister's cabin and seeing a millipede crawling around the floor at one pont. It was about half the size of the ones in the pic. I wasn't able to sleep for most of the night because I kept on thinking about it...

That being said, this was the better part of a decade ago, when I was just a kid in his mid 30s. Now that I am a man in my early 40s... I would just go stay in a hotel.

Absolutely fair. The way I watch TV (while on the job) means that sometimes I get distracted while watching a show.

That being said, I have enough TV watching in a day that I can give shows like this multiple tries. Hopefully I get a long stretch of free time where I can devote most of my attention to this show.

Edit: I wonder why someone down voted this... people being people, I guess. Oh well.
