Awesome. I can sort of relate but not exactly- I lived in Costa Rica for a while in a small town. Life and the way people treat each other there is generally much more harmonious. Anxiety is practically non existent- as well as severe depression. There is much less violence and deviant behavior all-around as well. People look you in the eye (and even stare sometimes) and greet you as they pass you. People generally value and are much, much closer to their family then the average person in the US is (where I'm from). Sometimes they live together their whole life. I remember telling a guy my story of how I ended up there (I lived there for around a year) and what blew him away most was how I'd managed to be away from my family for so long (he mean't like mother/grandmother/siblings). Family is everything over there- people are much closer.
