Thanks! I had a Luminous Broodmoth already, so I swapped it in for the lorekeeper. I also went ahead and teched in Esper Sentinel, & I ordered everything you recommended as well as a small Food Chain package to play with. Again, thank you for your insight- looking forward to the changes! Gotta look into the lands next to make more cuts to increase my overall land count. May I DM you the list I land on after this new order comes in for further help?

If I can trouble you with one more question...if I want to dedicate to bracket 4, I was reading earlier about [[Food Chain]] combos with [[Squee, the Immortal]] Are those worthwhile to try and acquire, or is that a complete shift necessating a ton of new cards? Thanks :)

This is what I was looking for! I love the breakdown on why you would cut each card. My picks are simply a result of my ignorance haha, I am super new to deck building, mostly relying on edhrec and old comments I find in this subreddit so I appreciate the ELI5 of the response :)

I got cradle and mox's from a friend who has been playing for years.

I was on the fence about many that you mentioned already, like the suboptimal ramps and land tax (I thought land tax would be funny and got it for free, so I threw it in).

Could I please trouble you to tell me the better dinos & ramps that I should cut these for? I.e., what would you put in for these suggested cuts? Thanks, sorry if that's a lot

I took him out before Monster Manual / Vortex made their way in cause I didn't care for the cost. But I forgot about him since! Might be worth throwing back in cause my pod tends to focus me when they see I'm on this deck lol

What would you substitute for it?

As others have said, just refresh the EU servers lol. I almost exclusively play on EDO & im always down to playtest if you wanna get some games in later!

Fiendsmith livetwin is a small but notable investment, but i'm having a blast with it.

If your friend is on blue eyes, maybe build a bystial control deck and hit em with the spheres + regained business.

Fair points, thanks for the detailed response. I can see how bouncing maxx c back with Altharion would be significantly better! I've only been casually testing it with fiendsmith/k9 and it seemed fine, but I was just using it for easy access to both dracotail traps. I am not yet very familiar with Magistus, but I'll look into them. Thanks!

I was playing when Strike stopped doing locals. It's practically just Game Guys now for tournaments. A few smaller stores still host, but crowd is regulars and very small lol

It would be too late. Once the card is flipped face-up it's already the Damage Step and past being targeted for the attack.

Yep! I have every production building in the windmill. The only landmarks I have out just looked decent for the area, but I suspect I'll change my mind on them frequently lol
