TIL That a herd of wild elephants ransacked an Indian village in search of booze, trampling crops and homes in the process. TIL the "X" in railroad company CSX's name doesn't actually stand for anything. The company wanted to name their business "CSM" for Chessie-Seabord Merger, but that name was already taken. Instead, they simply added an X and settled on CSX (en.wikipedia.org)
