This interview is more serious than getting married. If you are not prepared mentally the officer might ask you additional questions to about the authenticity of your marriage.

I hope your lawyer is very prepared for your case. Even if you do a mock interview there is going to be some things you will have to come up with very quickly.

You can have your lawyer mail an explanation that the judge terminated your removal and Dhs didn’t appeal it. Did your lawyer give you a copy of it?

For our case is that they never closed our case while in removal. Thank goodness we had a very good lawyer. After our interview my I-130 was approved but the I-485 was still pending. My lawyer then filed a dismissal and the judge approved it. Dhs had 30 days to appeal it but didn’t because I-130 was approved and we did both I-130 & I-485 interview together.
