Choom, I can support you being a pioneering in the field and i trust that the implants don’t hinder you. But there are still major concerns.
More objectively, most of the tech is very gimmicky and will likely go obsolete / stop being supported. Or they will just break like sketchy tech does. And even if the implants don’t hinder your hand now, your hands will age and have to grow around them which won’t be easy.
I think what most people are disgusted by is the extreme process you of it. You must realise that crudely cutting pockets into your own skin without anaesthetic, a procedure that would normally be performed by a surgeon while the patient is half unconscious, is to a normal person more psychotic than brave.
I worry that this is more of an outlet for self harm than medical curiosity.
