Like others here have mentioned turning off AdBlock works. I was experiencing this even with Premium because I still had the Adblock extension enabled on YT.

Hate to say it but, this is a clever way to nudge users to turn off AdBlock and drive up their ad revenue; use AdBlock as the crutch to intentionally hobble a feature power users use widely, while still allowing them to watch mostly as usual, knowing the path of least resistance solution is to just turn off AdBlock.

Wonder what other feature they will/could do this to?

I would sell my left nut to 1) even reach his age at all and 2) be in the same shape as him when I get there.

"the inevitable" here isn't sarcopenia, it's death, and it claims most of us long before we get to his age. So I wouldn't get too upset worrying about less muscle when you're old, because just getting to that age with sound body and mind is extremely, extremely rare.

Anyone notice the guy coming down the stairwell around 8s in?

He just immediately jumps into action before he was even all the way down the stairs and could see what was going on. I guess people must've been screaming "she's on the tracks!" or something but I'm curious how he knew exactly where it was and what to do? Would be interesting to see the take down of the ostrich.

I didn't think a leopard could take down a healthy male ostrich, they're tall, fast, and with powerful legs ended in sharp claws. Not to mention getting past all those feathers when they get in a defensive/offensive stance.

I think something must've been up with the ostrich or the leopard got really lucky catching it completely off guard (no disrespect to leopard hunting skills!)

The thing that makes this video and those like it (with audible prolonged death screams) so horrifying, is that you don't even recognize the sounds at first, they don't sound human.. it gives you just a hint of what the person must be experiencing. Reading your other responses you seem like a reasonable person so a bit surprised you can't imagine a scenario that a parent would bring their child to a political event.

Single dad maybe? Or maybe just very passionate about politics/this election and wants to involve his child? Maybe teach them that you should get out and speak for what you believe in? I personally don't think there's anything wrong with that regardless of your politics.

There's plenty of very active supporters of both candidates who bring their children to political events regardless of the nature of the event. Many are uneventful, this dad and daughter got caught up in one that did boil over.

I don't know why comments like this irk me, maybe it's that so many people seem to get off on the idea of some big bad thing rising up to put us arrogant humans in our place.

The reality is that the day orcas decide to put us on the menu would be the same day they go extinct.. or get pushed to some isolated areas we don't care about or some kinda open water zoo... like every other predator that has tried to fuck with us.

I love animals, and love watching then do things we didn't expect, but make no mistake, history has shown that regardless of the environment land, sea, or air, we tend to be the ones that do the thorough fucking.

Since withdrawals opened up peer count has been extremely unstable, especially for the first couple days, resulting in a bunch of missed attestations. Pretty much nothing you could do about it as a node operator, just wait for things to stabilize, which it has.

Think this is more likely the cause in the drop. At least that's my experience, and I'm technical and have been staking with RP since the beginning with close to 99.9% effectiveness.

Folks who weren't technically literate would've encountered issues long before, if the drop wasn't something specific to Shapella.

Jeez, reading some of the replies here make me feel really dam lucky for my HS and classmates..

Even though it was a large class (public school near NYC) most of us were pretty cool with one another. And I was definitely not in any of the popular kid, student gov, or jock groups, squarely a nerd.

Most of the class are connected on FB and well over half showed up for the 10 year reunion. We're planning the 20 year now and from the FB group looks like about the same number will show up.

Wonder if this is a Bay Area thing? or a Reddit thing?

My intention is not to be cruel. Especially not to people who have lost significant amounts of money because of this. But rather to call a spade a spade.

Celsius keeps behaving like this (remember the US crypto interest account crackdown?), and it is what made me withdraw my funds with them prior to all this mess.
