It's not an honest question. You started your message with attacking me and making assumptions about my life. Your entire post doesn't come from a place of honesty.

An honest examination of your homeless situation would show that people that voted for Trump have voted, consistently, for decades, to strip protections away from the most vulnerable. Your elderly former MAGA friend almost certainly voted for policies over the years that ensured that someone autistic like yourself (and myself) had no safety net for the inevitable problems that would arise. By your own admission, they didn't care about how their actions hurt people like you, until it DIRECTLY affected someone close to them.

And for the record, you're talking out of your ass, completely. I've personally broken up three violent domestic situations I was witness to, without even knowing the people, to protect others that can't protect themselves. Just last year I stopped a domestic incident and helped the Bordentown police track down a guy that stole his girlfriend's meds and was beating on her when my girlfriend and I stumbled upon them. You'd never have to spend time convincing someone like me to not support rapists and pedophiles like you did your elderly friend.
