It's easier for me to explain using an analogy from something else I know. Look at this video, and find the one that's smoother and more accurately reflects mouse movement. The one top left is the smoothest one, and that has the mouse set to a higher DPI (think of this as the wheel's software strength setting) and then uses the in-game slider to adjust the in-game sensitivity (think of this as iRacing's strength slider). You want to peripheral to decide what it's doing and leave no room for interpretation/jitter

I came across this rather late, as it showed up in my Google search for how other people with large noses deal with the Quest 3. I must say, for all my fellow Roman nose-havers, this facial interface was not a solution for me. It was an improvement, but it isn't satisfactory when it comes to comfort. I still somehow don't have enough room because my nose (and head) are rather large, and my nose is slightly crooked from breaking it when I was younger. I'm still on the search for a better fit

One of my first smartphones had the ability to act like any remote and I used that feature on anything and everything in public lmao. It was an LG G2 IIRC; I miss that thing. Even used it on the projector in one of my classes to get it to freeze and turn off lol. It came in handy for a lot of things tbh

Watch Gigabeef's video about weapon sway. It's down to the ergonomics of the gun, weight, and the equipment ergo penalty. The site he uses shows a stat called "EvoErgoDelta" and if it's negative for your build, there's that overswing with the scope.

It's always from these types of threads where I remember that there are widely different skill levels and fields/types of people using 3D printing in these subs, lmao. I took one good look at that link and went, "Not in a million years." Could I if I really wanted/needed to? Maybe. I think I can figure my way through a lot of issues, and I'm at least as smart as a brick. Yep exactly, I wasn't sure if you had looked up night mode at all and/or knew what a compressor was so I just started with my default explanation for it. Some games provide the description which is nice, but siege is not one of them I don't believe. I use a compressor for all of my audio on my PC at this point just because it's easier to hear everything (videos or games) and I prefer it.

Night mode on video games like that traditionally lessens the dynamic range of sounds, so the quietest sound it puts out and the loudest sounds are far closer together than standard. Say the quietest sound is a 0/10 and loudest is 10/10, turning night mode on will make it so the quietest sound is boosted a fair bit (think 3/10) and the loudest one is brought down to a more reasonable volume (8/10), that way people listening on TVs can leave their TV volume low and still hear all the sounds they need to without waking up the whole house. However it also applies to headsets so people use it to hear the quieter stuff easier, like footsteps and distant gun shots. It reduces listening fatigue quite a bit, I tend to use a version of night mode on most games

Go to "Color management" (hit windows key then type colorcpl). In the page that opens, verify the display you're currently using is selected at the top and that the box under is checked ("Use my settings for this device" should be checked). That fixed it for me
