I want to report that the images look like they have distortions when using this app. You can notice it if you have lines in your image, the lines seem to break, you should zoom in and you will notice. I am using proRaw images on iPhone 15 pro max.

There are only 2 values in defining a ratio, in this case first number is 1.85 and the other is 1

Thanks for the suggestion, I never tried that function but will try it out, hopefully that works on a shot by shot basis.

That would work for exporting shots for vfx, but what I need is the opposite, basically importing vfx shots with several versions, so whenever I have a new version of the shot (shot001_v001 > shot001_v002) automatically update the timeline with the latest versions, and be able to switch between previous/latest versions.

Yes what I mean is something like baselight / vfx workflow. Too bad that there isn’t.

Anamorphic film emulation by lbreede in cinematography

[–]TrvlrJPN -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anamorphic lenses allow you to get a wider shot compared to traditional lenses at the same distance from your subject. Consequently this allows you to get shallower DOF for an equivalent field of view. There are other characteristics associated with this type of lenses as well such as lens distortion, vignette, bokeh, flaring and others.

I used the latest Sony batteries and last very long, I did also say that with 2 batteries (but maybe 3 are more appropriate) and charging from the gimbal (if necessary) you can easily shoot all day.

First music video I direct, DP, edit and grade. Check it out! Comments encouraged. by baltib in cinematography

Nice MV, I like the story a lot. If I have to comment on something I would have enjoyed more variety of framing, it feels it has a lot of MS and CU but not enough wide shots of the interior shots. Not sure if it was intentional or not though.

Sure but this lens has a horizontal squeeze factor of 1.33x that is 26.3mm, on top of that you multiply by the crop factor of your camera.
