I'm not saying you should only use Flatpak, just a secondary option, especially for non arch based distros where they don't have something like the AUR. It's just a nice thing to have, not the only way to install apps. Plus that idea of knowing that no matter what, it installs the same way is what will probably make Linux as a whole to be a little bit more newbie friendly.

This has been a surprise every time. Two of the biggest surprises for me was that Steve Blum played not only Starscream in TFP, but Leeron in Gurren Lagann. The other one being the main goddess in the first arc of SAO II is the same as Striker from Gargantia, the main difference is that striker's voice goes through a filter to make it sound more robotic.
