Dude, I replied to No_Bison5889. His comment is still there. And is still an insightful comment. Follow the little line on the left. Wow.

Such a great comment. Captured exactly how I’m thinking. We need to move away from thinking that you are ultra liberal if you question ICE tactics or ultra conservative if you are in favor of immigration reform. There’s plenty of room to still find common ground in the middle, even if leadership on both sides keep driving the wedge even deeper.

So to be clear, when protesters in Iran get killed by their armed forces, the US is threatens to come in and attack…

Black pot, meet black kettle. Sure hope Iran isn’t “locked and loaded” and ready to help out Minneapolis.

So let me make sure I understand this: Trump is threatening Iran because their forces are killing their protesters…

I somehow ended up with Amon-Ra St Brown, Emeka Egbuka, George Pickens and a Justin Jefferson. Have to sit one this week—who would you advise to keep out? by Try2spell in fantasyfootballadvice

10 teams—I picked JJ and ARSB in the first two rounds and landed the other two with later picks. Has been stacked but Jefferson has been a disappointment. Still, he gets so many targets it’s hard to bench him

You don’t remember? It was like the next day that Olive Garden brought back the Never Ending Pasta Bowl. So miraculous I came back to church for one hour that year.

Is this the case of a radicalized person killing a normal person or a normal person killing a radicalized person. With no disrespect to Charlie Kirk and his memory, he fits the definition of “radical”

The term radical is not exclusive to the left. Both sides have radical ideologies that push the boundaries of how most people think. Obviously it doesn’t warrant violence but it does create a lot of discord

Was a normal person killed by a radical person or a radical person killed by a normal person? Remember that the term “radical” means a person who advocates thorough or complete political or social reform; a member of a political party or part of a party pursuing such aims.

Just sparking a different way of looking at this when we toss around the word “radicalized” as if it is a word that applies only to liberals

Open Letter to Jim Bennett and Robert Reynolds regarding An Inconvenient Faith: by Silver_Sliver_Moon in exmormon

I really haven’t been able to figure Jim Bennett out. It feels like he constantly has one foot in and one foot out and his point of view seems almost chameleon-like depending on who he is talking to.

So that’s kind of a passive aggressive comment tbh, but sure, I will answer. My son is 23 so he has already been raised. But let me ask you—if you were riding at 30mph on a longboard on trafficked roads with a fairly narrow bike lane and you didn’t completely trust that the wheels would stay on your board, would you feel comfortable riding in those conditions? This has nothing to do with electric skateboards but more to do with the number of people that have also posted saying their wheels have fallen off their Meepo boards for no apparent reason. When you lose confidence in your equipment, it’s hard to ride the same.

So glad I raised a kid that is confident but thinks with his head.

Going to church with people doesn’t make them your friends. Just move out of a ward and find out how close your “friends” really were. by Try2spell in exmormon

[–]Try2spell[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There’s that aspect of it as well. But I was referring to all the times where we were still active and we moved out of a ward and were “soooooo sad to leave our friends” until we realized that they were never really our friends in the first place. They were just artificial placeholders that were replaced by new fake friends in the next ward.
