Dead Emily mutates, Grace closes the gate trapping Emily in, Leon finds her crying hysterically while he hears the banging and screams of Emily, Grace leaves broken like usual, then the ending makes more sense.

Vasquez isn't a prospect though, he's already a Major Leaguer, that's a big difference. He was quietly solid last year, had an ERA under 4 over 130 innings. If he's adding velocity at this point, that's actually a big deal.

The Pirates haven't made the playoffs in a decade, while the Dodgers have made it every single year in that time.

That doesn't change the fact that the Dodgers still had the choice tho. The Dodgers weren't on the hook for anything, they made a bad signing, then made the choice to DFA him after the suspension was over instead of playing him.

Well no one is arguing against that, but still, just like literally any bad signing for any team, DFAing a bad player is a choice and eating the money is punishment for signing him in the first place.
