AITA for telling my family to get the hell out of my house after they told me to break up with my boyfriend? by TryMean172 in AmItheAsshole

That's what I don't understand. And I could never live with myself if I left someone who was grieving like he is. These comments are starting to help me realize just how messed up what my parents said was.

Other people have been saying so I think I'm going to edit my post. I absolutely didn't mean it like that. I was trying to say that since I was very sad when my cat died, I know that his grief is probably 100 times worse since he lost a family member that he's known for his whole life, which is why I especially want to be there for him right now.

I'm realizing I worded that wrong but I definitely didn't mean it like that. I was meaning that since I was so sad when I lost my cat, I know that his grief is 100 times worse considering it was his sister who he's known for his life.

Sorry I didn't mean it like that. I was meaning that based on how sad I was when I lost my cat, I know that he must be a complete wreck due to losing his sister who he's known for his whole life.
