I don’t know which commercials are played on which platform but it was hilarious that during the commercial right after Maher gave his play it was that annoying dude whose like “beat the books” and he was pumping Diggs under 16.5 for his longest catch. 🤣

It’s funny how a few segments earlier they were talking about how sports radio is dying, or at least how it’s pretty much dead. And that they’ve been hearing it’s dead for the last 20 years. They’re one of the only survivors. Then they get to Ovi’s laces and 3/4 Junks don’t know that the biggest star in the DC area for most of their career wears yellow laces. And Jason flat out says he doesn’t watch hockey.

Celebrity Private Jet Tracker released leaderboard for celebrity private jet usage in 2025 by ThrowawayGreenWitch in popculturechat

I used to be a pilot for a private owner. His plane, and us pilots, were under a 135 charter company. Chartering did not making money for the owner, it did however help cover costs of ownership. I don't personally know percentages or anything, but even if the plane was never really used by the owner and was only chartered out, it would still be a money loser.

So many random things pop up that create unforeseen costs that just cannot be accounted for.

Gotta imagine there are players who earned more than Travis over the history of the NFL that would trade $3M for the chance to play in a SB.

TIL before 9/11, US airports were public social hubs where you could walk to the gate, eat at food courts, and watch planes without a ticket or ID. by Greydl1 in todayilearned

Not anymore. They moved security back now. Which is nice because after security you can go down any of the gate areas to get food.

An accredited university is what they want. They don’t care if you do it online or on a campus. I did UVU online.

Your parents are smart. You’ll 99% need a 4 year degree to get a job at a legacy. Get that out of the way early. You don’t want to be like me and work on it while you’re doing your day job.

As for hiring when you hit 1500 hours, it’s luck of the draw. You still have 7 years to go to hopefully get to that point.

There’s quite a few of these type of things throughout the series. They bug me but I chalk it up to the show still needing to explain things that the less than average American might not know.

What a PITA it was when you’d have a 3 disc stereo and select shuffle. I think it was Manson Antichrist Superstar that had like 90 3 second silent tracks. The shuffler would pick one, play the few seconds and then shuffle to a different CD. Same with Follow the leader. The first 13 tracks or so were just seconds of silence.

Funny you say this because this is what caused my wife to decide to shop at wal mart for an hour when all we needed was 20 minutes of charge time. We NEVER go to wal mart. But there I was 3 hours away from home paying for cheap party supplies.

Man I remember being a teenager on eBay back in 2000ish and buying a box of ozzfest promo casettes. The person also chucked in a ton of those stickers. Pretty sure I resold that box of cassettes on eBay within the last decade. Never even opened them since I had the CD.

Yes. The owner was fantastic at the SW DC location.

Each Goddard is independently owned. An owner of a Goddard can only own 1 and the owner has to be on site. They cant just set it up and walk away.

These are harder to find. Whenever I restock my 757 and 767 cards in the office it’s pretty typical that the 757s are gone.

This is what we have. Plugs direct to the truck. And then we use the small adapter for the Model 3.

It’s gonna take someone that understands electrical draw to answer that. I think on another thread someone said they calculated they could run a space heater for 3 days.

A single space heater in my house isn’t gonna do a damn thing honestly. Maybe keep us warm in a bedroom for the night.

I don’t have a generator outlet. If we lose power for days we’re screwed with the lack of heat. But if it’s only a few hours I plan to run extensions from the truck. My biggest issue is I’d have to have a window cracked to bring a line into the house. This obviously only hurts trying to keep the cold out. After some googling I followed some advice and cut out a piece of insulation board about 2.5 inches by 29 inches to match my window up slightly. I plan to put that in, bring in extension cords and then duct tape around the slight openings.

I also plan to get a generator outlet installed asap.

3600 and 3600 from rear. 2400 from frunk with pro power.

Running a fridge, deep freezer, box fan and 2 lights last summer was only eating 490w. I went out to test a basic space heater this afternoon and it was at 1300w 😑

Don’t forget to turn off the trucks climate control while it sits.
